A lifelong resident of Austin Texas, I have spent the past 26 years in real estate.   Most of those years were  with a national homebuilder.

Throughout my career, I have worked with market analysts and have been inside hundreds of homes in order to help formulate strategic marketing plans that helped define, in a specific market segment, the target buyer and the home design that best matched the needs and desires of that buyer.  This insight has prepared me to understand each buyer segment, from young-married to active adults, and what floor plan would best appeal to each one reducing the amount of time it takes to find the right home for you, the buyer.

I have attended homebuilding and marketing seminars throughout the United States from California to Florida.  I have been privileged to see many new home developments and homes built by many of the national and local area builders in each of these states. This has provided me with a keen insight into what makes for a successful home design.

I work with several architects and designers on the development of new home designs for the Austin area and have come to realize how important it is to find an architect who understands that a well-designed home is more than just space planning.  It’s what he or she does within the space that can make a good plan a great plan – the use of a box window to add depth to a room, placing an eyebrow arch over a set of windows for visual appeal or creating several options within a defined space that offers the homebuyer a choice in design that appeals to his or her stage in life.  Last, it’s about designing homes that are affordable.
